Terms of Service

The core commercial and legal terms that govern access to the Personalize Design app and related services.

Version: 2026-02-28Last updated: February 28, 2026

Acceptance and eligibility

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Personalize Design, including our Shopify app, storefront components, APIs, generated outputs, and related services (the "Service"). By installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these terms and our related policy pages.

You may use the Service only if you can form a binding contract and have authority to act for the business, store, or organization using the Service.

What we provide

Personalize Design helps merchants offer AI-powered product personalization, generate design previews, adapt outputs to print areas, and route approved assets toward fulfillment workflows.

We may update, improve, limit, or discontinue features at any time. Certain features may be marked experimental, early access, or subject to additional limits.

Merchant responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your Shopify account, connected services, and store data accurate and secure.
  • Configuring blueprints, products, pricing, and generation limits in a lawful and commercially reasonable way.
  • Reviewing AI outputs before sale, fulfillment, publication, or customer delivery.
  • Providing legally required disclosures, storefront terms, privacy notices, and customer support for your buyers.
  • Ensuring your use of the Service complies with applicable law and the rules of Shopify, Printify, payment providers, and other integrated services.
Shoppers purchasing personalized products from your storefront are your customers, not ours. You remain responsible for your products, sales practices, and customer-facing policies.

Third-party services

The Service depends on third-party platforms and providers, including Shopify, AI model providers, storage providers, fulfillment providers, and analytics vendors. Your use of those services may also be subject to their separate terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, API changes, pricing changes, or restrictions imposed by third-party providers.

Fees, billing, and taxes

Paid features may include subscription fees, usage-based fees, fulfillment-related fees, or other charges disclosed in the app or through Shopify billing. You authorize us to submit applicable charges through approved billing channels.

Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable once incurred, including for completed generations, processed usage, or periods where the Service was available but underused. You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or similar charges associated with your use of the Service, excluding taxes on our net income.

Acceptable use and content rules

You must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy and Copyright Policy. We may block, remove, suspend, or investigate content or activity that violates those rules or creates risk to the Service, our partners, or other users.

Intellectual property and outputs

You retain rights in content you submit, subject to any third-party rights. The Service and its software, workflows, and branding remain our property or the property of our licensors.

AI outputs are probabilistic and may be inaccurate, unavailable, non-unique, or unusable for a given commercial purpose. You are solely responsible for reviewing outputs and deciding whether they are appropriate for use.

Availability and disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability.

We do not guarantee that the Service will always be error-free, secure, compatible with every product setup, or suitable for your business goals.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access immediately if you violate these terms, create legal or security risk, fail to pay fees, misuse third party integrations, or if continued service is no longer commercially or technically feasible.

You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app and discontinuing use, but outstanding fees and obligations that accrued before termination still apply.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Personalize Design and its affiliates, service providers, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, loss of goodwill, business interruption, or procurement of substitute services arising from or related to the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for claims arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the total amount you paid us for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Personalize Design and its affiliates, service providers, and partners from claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, and expenses arising out of your content, products, storefront representations, misuse of the Service, or violation of these terms or applicable law.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time. Updated versions become effective when posted unless a later effective date is stated. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
